Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with co-teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored for early learners.
  • Implement accommodations and modifications to ensure all students participate fully.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages social interaction.
  • Support students with disabilities in participating in the general curriculum.
  • Maintain documentation and communicate progress with families and staff.


Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois early childhood teaching certification or license.
  • Experience working in inclusive classrooms or with students with disabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with general education and support staff.
  • Strong understanding of developmental and educational needs of young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
