Traveling Superintendent Job Description
Must be able to travel based on project
Responsibilities:
- Overall field operations and sub-contractor management
- Develop and manage the project schedule with project manager
- Develop and update look ahead schedule
- Coordinate subcontracts, drawings and specification
- Communicate with Customer, Architect, subcontractors and staff
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Enforce company safety program, OSHA operating standards and laws
- Manage the quality control processes throughout the project schedule
- Handle and evaluate safety risks on the job site.
- Process and Handle Stressful Deadlines Professionally
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of commercial construction, site supervision experience
- Thorough and quick-thinking skills
- Significant Experience in ground-up and renovation experience
- Microsoft Project experience preferred, but not required
- Outlook, Word and Excel skills
- Ability to lift/transport up to 50 pounds
- Driver’s License
- Ability to walk on uneven ground construction site
