Summary
The Mount Sinai Health System and its Icahn School of Medicine are seeking an
outstanding physician to help lead the burgeoning clinical and clinical research portfolio
of a major new initiative focused on healthy aging and healthspan extension. We are
recruiting at the Associate Professor or Professor level for candidates committed to
advancing translational and clinical research, along with precision healthcare delivery,
that extends healthspan and prevents age-related disease.
Qualifications
- MD or MD/PhD
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or other relevant field
- Outstanding clinician
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical trial design and execution
- Strong interest in longevity/healthspan care, aging biology, healthspan
science, inflammation, metabolism, or related fields
- Subspecialty training preferred
The successful candidate will lead innovative clinical programs and studies within Mount
Sinai's expanding Healthspan Program, working alongside an interdisciplinary team
spanning clinical and research experts in immunology, aging biology, metabolism,
cardiovascular disease, neuroscience, genomics, and precision medicine. The position
offers access to exceptional clinical and clinical research infrastructure, longitudinal
human cohorts, advanced immune monitoring and multi-omics platforms, and the
opportunity to develop first-in-human healthspan trials.
