$27 - $33 Hourly Non-ExemptRole and ResponsibilitiesFull Time Technical Applications Specialist position supporting the D Department providing configuration management/logistics support services for the Common Computing Systems Engineering Branch.Position QualificationsAssociate's Degree and 4 - 6 years of CM/logistics experience or no degree and 6 -8 years of experience.Able to provide data management including configuration identification and controlAble to follow CM/logistics standards and procedures.Able to communicate expectations and follow-up to make sure deadlines are met.Support development and release management of configuration data and configuration status accounting.Provide control of the technical configuration of project assets.Able to develop/update on AIT (Alteration Installation Team) workbooks.Able to apply CM/logistics processes for documentation updates/revisions and change control management.Track reconfigurations, baselines and data management.Able to utilize numerous Navy logistics and CM applications such as Advance Configuration and Engineering Status System (ACCESS) and able to maintain configuration data utilizing VIEW net.Organization and project managementAble to interface with Project Engineers, Log Reps, Engineers, Technicians and Logisticians.Must have strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat).Have a valid driver's license with own transportation.Must be able to receive and maintain a security clearance.Must be punctual, attention to detail, and take good notes.Must be able to work under minimal supervision, perform and complete tasks with limited guidance.Able to follow company policies and procedures.Able to write, speak and understand English and able to write clear, detailed reports.Preferred SkillsNavy Logistics School and previous NAVSEA CM/Logistics experience.Physical RequirementsMust be able to travel if/when required."At AdvantEdge Technology, we are committed to maintaining a workplace that is diverse, inclusive, and free from discrimination or harassment.
