Uniformed Armed Associate
The Uniformed Armed Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for both employees and visitors at designated Texas locations. This position involves monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. The associate will serve as a visible deterrent to potential security threats while providing assistance and guidance to individuals on-site. Effective communication and conflict resolution skills are essential, as the associate will interact with a diverse range of people daily. Ultimately, the goal of this role is to foster a secure atmosphere that promotes peace of mind for all stakeholders.
Essential Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both indoors and outdoors, to monitor for any suspicious activity or safety hazards.
- Remain vigilant for criminal activity and unauthorized persons. Detect, report and monitor any trespassers or violators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities respond and assume control.
- Provide assistance to employees and visitors, answering questions and directing them as needed.
- Access control over entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles according to protocols.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Monitoring available surveillance cameras and reporting any incidents or irregularities to the appropriate authorities in a timely manner using the reporting protocols and software.
- Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in security or law enforcement.
- TX Level III Security Certification
- TX PPO Security Certification preferred
- Basic first aid and CPR certification preferred.
