Class Action Litigation Trial Attorney — Position Overview

Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Class Action Litigation Trial Attorney with a distinguished background in complex litigation, government service, prosecution, diplomacy, federal judicial clerkship, or other high-level legal practice. The ideal candidate will bring substantial courtroom experience and a proven ability to manage sophisticated matters involving large numbers of parties, significant factual records, complex legal issues, and highly consequential client interests.

This is a senior trial role for an attorney who has demonstrated the judgment, courtroom presence, strategic ability, and leadership skills required to handle litigation at scale. Candidates may come from a major litigation firm, U.S. Attorney’s Office, District Attorney’s Office, Attorney General’s Office, federal or state government, diplomatic or international legal service, or a federal judicial clerkship followed by a distinguished litigation career.

The successful candidate will have a substantial trial background, including experience developing case strategy, preparing and examining witnesses, arguing significant motions, managing discovery, working with experts, negotiating resolutions, and preparing matters for trial. Experience serving as lead or senior trial counsel on large, complex, multi-party matters is strongly preferred.

Ideal Background

  • Significant career as a trial attorney handling complex civil or criminal litigation.
  • Experience managing large cases and large multidisciplinary litigation teams, including attorneys, investigators, experts, and litigation professionals.
  • Prior experience with the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Attorney’s Office, District Attorney’s Office, Attorney General’s Office, federal or state government, or comparable public-sector legal institution.
  • Experience in diplomacy, international affairs, national security, regulatory matters, or other complex governmental environments is highly valued.
  • Federal judicial clerkship, particularly at the district or appellate level, is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional written and oral advocacy, strategic judgment, discretion, and courtroom presence.

The Role

The attorney will play a central role in representing individuals whose lives and livelihoods have been profoundly affected by extraordinary circumstances. The work demands sophisticated legal advocacy combined with empathy, discretion, and a deep commitment to individualized client representation.

This position is designed for a senior lawyer who can bring the discipline of government service, the analytical rigor of federal judicial practice, the strategic perspective of large-scale litigation, and the confidence of an experienced trial advocate to a highly consequential client-centered practice.

The successful candidate will be recognized not simply for the number of cases handled, but for the ability to lead complex litigation, exercise exceptional judgment, and advocate effectively for individuals whose interests require the highest level of professional representation.
