Trash Loader – Seasonal

Location: Grosse Pointe Farms, MI

Pay: $15.00/hr | Weekly Pay

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

LaborMax Staffing is hiring a Trash Loader to work with the Grosse Pointe Farms Public Works Department.

Job Duties

• Assist with residential refuse, yard waste, and recycling collection
• Load trash and other materials into collection vehicles
• Walk assigned collection routes throughout the workday
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Follow all safety procedures while working around collection vehicles and equipment
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Must be comfortable with a physically demanding, active position
• Ability to walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to work outdoors rain or shine
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Must be able to work Monday–Friday starting at 7:00 AM
• Steel-toe boots are required
• Must dress appropriately for changing weather conditions

Assignment Details

This is a temporary, seasonal position. Assignment duration may vary based on business needs and typically runs through approximately the first week of December.
