Summary

Location: New York City

Working style: On-site

Compensation: up to $200,000 + benefits

We're partnering with a prestigious, globally recognised quantitative hedge fund to hire an ambitious, outgoing Campus Recruiting Sourcer to help attract exceptional graduate talent from the USA's leading universities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their recruiting career who enjoys building relationships, thrives in social environments, and wants to play a key role in attracting some of the brightest minds into a highly selective organisation.

The Opportunity

You'll be responsible for identifying, engaging and building relationships with outstanding students across top US universities, generating interest in graduate opportunities within quantitative research.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building relationships with high-potential students at leading US universities.
  • Attending campus events, networking sessions and careers fairs, representing the firm and developing its presence on campus.
  • Proactively identifying and engaging exceptional graduate talent, including students who might not otherwise have considered a career in financial services.
  • Developing creative approaches to generating interest, building talent pipelines and encouraging applications.
  • Partnering with internal recruiting teams to help convert promising student relationships into candidates.

About You

We're particularly interested in individuals with:

  • 2–4 years of recruiting experience, ideally within campus, university or early careers recruitment.
  • Experience working for a highly regarded organisation known for attracting and developing exceptional talent, ideally within technology, financial services or professional services.
  • A strong academic background, ideally from a well-regarded university.
  • An engaging, confident and outgoing personality, with a natural ability to connect with people and build relationships.
  • A proactive, resourceful approach and the confidence to approach new people, create opportunities and generate enthusiasm.

We'd also welcome applications from ambitious junior recruiters working within prestigious organisations who have the interpersonal skills, energy and drive to succeed in a university-facing role. Similarly, previous experience recruiting quantitative or technical talent isn't essential.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

  • You'll join a highly successful, intellectually rigorous organisation that places enormous value on attracting exceptional talent.
  • It's an opportunity to build your career within a high-performing recruiting function, develop relationships across some of America's leading universities, and play a visible role in shaping the firm's future talent pipeline.
