Armed Health Protection OfficerSalary Range $45.00 - $45.00 Hourly Position Type Full Time Job Shift Any Category FieldSecurity & Access Control •Monitor individuals entering and exiting the facility •Monitor for potential security threats •Conduct bag checks and screening for weapons or prohibited itemsEmergency Response •Respond to security emergencies and safety incidents •Assist hospital staff during high-risk or disruptive situations •Work closely with hospital leadership, security teams, and emergency personnel •Follow established emergency response procedures •Use hands-on intervention when necessary and permitted by policy if a patient becomes physically aggressiveQualifications5+ years of armed experience in security, military, or law enforcementPreviously CJTC-certifiedEligible to obtain and maintain an Armed Guard CardPass a background check, drug screen, and health physical check Complete required Varicella, MMR, and Hepatitis B health requirementsIf non-immune or low-immune, provide vaccination records or complete the required vaccination process
