A leading international law firm is looking for a Senior Analyst, New Business Conflicts Clearance to join the New York office.This role would suit an experienced conflicts professional with a background working within a law firm environment and hands-on experience using Intapp.Key Responsibilities for the Senior Analyst, New Business Conflicts Clearance role:Manage and conduct conflicts of interest searches and clearances for new business and client intake requests.Review and analyse conflicts search results, identifying potential legal, commercial and ethical conflicts of interest.Assess complex conflicts involving existing and prospective clients, related entities, adverse parties and matters.Liaise with partners, attorneys, business acceptance teams and other internal stakeholders to obtain additional information and resolve potential conflicts.Work collaboratively with colleagues across international offices to support global conflicts clearance procedures and ensure consistency in approach.Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of conflicts clearance processes, procedures and best practices.Requirements:Previous experience working within a law firm, ideally within a Conflicts, New Business Intake, Business Acceptance or Risk & Compliance function.Hands-on experience using Intapp.Strong understanding of conflicts of interest principles and the new business intake process within a law firm environment.Experience conducting conflicts searches, analysing results and identifying potential issues requiring further investigation or escalation.The Senior Analyst, New Business Conflicts Clearance role offers exposure to complex conflicts matters, collaboration with senior legal stakeholders and the opportunity to further develop expertise within a high-performing Risk & Compliance environment.
