NOW HIRING: TBM MECHANICAL SUPERINTENDENT | NEW YORK

I'm working with a leading heavy civil and underground construction contractor seeking an experienced TBM Mechanical Superintendent for a major tunnelling project in New York.

The successful candidate will oversee the mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, assembly and installation of Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) and supporting construction equipment, while leading mechanical crews and coordinating with manufacturers, vendors and project teams.

Key requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant mechanical experience in tunnelling or heavy civil construction

• 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience

• Hands-on experience with hard rock Main Beam, EPB and/or Single Shield TBMs

• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, preventative maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting

• Experience managing crews, spare parts, equipment reliability and site safety

Salary: $220,000 + (based on experience)
