Summary

Battalion Chief Duties

You will responsible for directing the immediate tactical response to complex, multi-agency emergencies as the Battalion Chief who is the senior officer on shift.

You will provide direct leadership, administrative oversight, and professional development to the shift's personnel and station officers.

You will be responsible for managing, evaluating, and auditing a key departmental program division as the Battalion Chief.

You will represent the fire department's interests across the installation and/or community, proactively mitigating hazards and building key operational relationships as the Battalion Chief.
