General Superintendent - Projects over $300M

Summary

I’m working with a leading General Contractor in South Florida looking to hire an experienced General Superintendent to lead major ground-up construction projects valued at $300M+.

This is a senior field leadership role for someone who has successfully delivered large-scale multifamily, mixed-use, high-rise, or major commercial construction from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

• Lead all field operations across a $300M+ ground-up project
• Manage and mentor a team of Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents and field staff
• Coordinate subcontractors across structure, MEP, interiors and sitework
• Drive the master construction schedule and ensure key milestones are hit
• Run weekly subcontractor and field coordination meetings
• Oversee site logistics, manpower planning and sequencing of trades
• Maintain high standards across safety, QA/QC and overall workmanship
• Work closely with Project Executives, Project Managers, architects and ownership
• Identify potential schedule or construction issues early and drive solutions
• Oversee the project through ground-up construction, interiors, inspections, punch and final turnover

What they’re looking for:

• 15+ years of construction experience
• Proven experience as a General or Lead Superintendent
• Track record delivering $300M+ ground-up projects
• Strong concrete, structural, MEP and interior build-out experience
• Experience managing multiple Superintendents and large subcontractor teams
• Strong scheduling, logistics, safety and QA/QC knowledge
• South Florida construction experience preferred
