Superintendent – High-End Retail & Restaurant Construction | South Florida

I’m working with an established General Contractor in South Florida that is looking to add an experienced Superintendent to its team due to a strong pipeline of upcoming work.

They specialize in high-end retail, restaurant and commercial interior projects, working with recognizable brands and delivering projects where the quality of finish, schedule and attention to detail are key.

This would suit someone who has been the lead Superintendent on retail or restaurant projects and is comfortable owning the jobsite from start through turnover.

What they’re looking for:

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience in a leadership position
• Strong background in retail and/or restaurant construction
• Strong understanding of interiors, finishes and MEP coordination
• Ability to manage subcontractors and hold trades accountable to schedule
• Experience coordinating inspections, RFIs, deliveries and site logistics
• Strong focus on quality control and high-end finishes
• Able to manage punch lists and drive projects through final turnover
• Comfortable working directly with PMs, architects, owners and subcontractors
• South Florida construction experience strongly preferred
• Experience working within active retail environments, malls or occupied spaces would be a big plus
