NYS Certified Teaching Assistant (TA) – Monroe County, NY $20.00 – $21.75 per hour | Full-Time | School Year Placement Cross Country Education is now hiring NYS Certified Teaching Assistants (TAs) for rewarding opportunities supporting K–12 students in a prominent suburban public school district located in northwest Monroe County (Greater Rochester area). Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1, small group, and general instructional support under the direction of certified teachers.
• Assist with classroom management.
• Reinforce IEP goals.
• Help students navigate their daily academic routines.
• Make a direct impact in the classroom while enjoying a stable school schedule with weekends, holidays, and school breaks off.

Qualifications

• Active New York State Teaching Assistant Certification (Level I, Level II, Level III, or Pre-Professional).
• High School Diploma or equivalent (College coursework/credits a plus).
• Ability to pass standard NYS Education Department background checks and fingerprint clearance (TEACH system).

Required Skills

• Active New York State Teaching Assistant Certification (Level I, Level II, Level III, or Pre-Professional).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass standard NYS Education Department background checks and fingerprint clearance (TEACH system).

Preferred Skills

• College coursework/credits.
• Experience working with children in an educational or classroom setting.

Pay range and compensation package

• $20.00 – $21.75 per hour.
• Full-Time.
• School Year Placement.
