At VIP, you're not another cog in a machine, you're a part of a team with a goal of providing essential technology services and solutions to businesses across our state and our country.POSITION OBJECTIVE:Installation of Low Voltage Structured Cabling Systems per industry standard (EIA/TIA, BICSI)Installation of Fiber Optic CablingAccess Control/CCTV installation, maintenance, and repairGENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities include but are not limited to:• Lift and carry up to 80lbs• Climb ladders up to 28'• Work in Attics and other limited-space areas• Bend, Kneel, Crouch and Stand for long periods of time• Participate in Team meetings providing updated information of open tickets/projects.COMPETENCIES REQUIREDCommunicationSpeaking with PM and Company PeersSpeaking with Customers in person, over phone and written communication.Clear and precise, both written and verbalData collection TeamworkAbility to work with team members involved in Sales, Engineering, Trouble Shooting Problem solvingCustomer questions/concernsConnecting them to proper agentsSelf-ManagementSelf-MotivationWork/Personal Time Management Planning and organizationMust be personally organized TechnologyData NetworkingFiber ConnectivityOn Premise Telephony NetworkingCloud Based SolutionsSecurity Installation/Configuration (Analog/IP Cameras, NVR/DVR, etc...)A/V Installation/Troubleshooting LearningTeachable and able to retain InitiativeSelf-StarterStrong Work EthicOn TimeExperience with Access Control and/or Security AlarmsExperience with Security Camera systemsReports to: Infrastructure Systems Director\nCompany DescriptionVIP Technology Solutions Group is a turnkey communications technology provider for businesses.
