Law Enforcement And Protection Providing OrganizationThe PFPA is designated by the Secretary of War as a Law Enforcement and Protection Providing Organization (PPO) per Title 10 U.S.C 2674 and 10 U.S. C 714. PFPA performs full range of investigative and threat-based security functions, including, world-wide Protective Security Missions (PSMs) for designated DoW High Risk Personnel (HRP) and designated United States (U.S.) visits by Senior Foreign Official Visitors (SFOVs) to the Secretary, DSW, and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS).
