- Eight (8) years of dispatch experience, with three (3) years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Any combination of education, training, or experience equivalency will be considered.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and/or post-offer physical exam.
- Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D
- Must possess Texas Law Enforcement Dispatch Certification.
- Must possess TCIC/NCIC Certification
- Must possess NLETS/TLETS Certification .
- Must possess TTY certification.
Under general supervision, assists in the management of the division's daily operations, which includes supervising division employees and monitoring Dispatch center. Assists Manager with monitoring procedural adherence in responses to calls for Police, Fire, or Emergency Medical Services (EMS). Supervises and assists assigned staff.
