    Job/Department Summary:

    Working independently, under general supervision, incumbent provides a wide range of clerical and administrative support for the First-Year Experience and REACH Student Success Center (RSSC) programs. Incumbent will serve as budget coordinator, oversee day-to-day office operations and work flow, maintain student employee payroll, provide administrative support to program faculty, coordinate logistics support (reservations, supply orders) for public events and travel, schedule courses, and maintain course schedules and related workload. In addition, the incumbent will provide additional support to the college AA/S and ASC as needed.

    Required Education and Experience:

    This position requires a fully functional knowledge of and skill in standard office procedures and practices, as well as an ability to understand and operate in a variety of organizational structures. These qualifications, and those listed above, would normally be obtained through completion of a high school program, technical/vocational program, or their equivalents combined with three years of related office work experience.

    Preferences:

    Preference may be given to applicants with the following as they may be considered specialized skills:
    • Experience with budgets.
    • Experience with event planning.
    • Experience with payroll.

    Time Base: Full-time

    Pay Plan: 11/12 (June off)

    Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm, Summer: Mon-Thurs 7:00am-5:30pm

    CSU Classification Salary Range: $42,504 - $66,792 per year.

    Additional Information:

    Throughout employment in this position incumbent must maintain a valid California Driver's License as well as continued completion and compliance of the CSU Defensive Driver's Training course.
