    BA 645: Operations and Supply Chain Management
    • Position: Lecturer - Academic Year
    • Semester: Spring 2026
    • Day/Time: Wednesdays, from 7:00 - 9:45 p.m. and Saturdays, from 9 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.
    • Modality: In-person

    The MBA Program at California State University San Marcos seeks a part time lecturer for Spring 2026 to teach BA 645: Operations and Supply Chain Management.


    Course Description:


    Provides a multi-industry study of operations, with an emphasis on integrated design of the supply chain. Views operations through the framework of business processes at various levels, from an individual process to an entire supply chain, and discusses process improvement through the management of capacity, throughput, inventory, and lead-time and quality. Focus is on analytical decision support tools that allow companies to develop, implement, and sustain collaborative strategies and coordinate supply chain players and strategic partnerships.

    Minimum qualifications:
    • A Master of Business Administration or a master's degree in a related discipline
    • Active current experience in a role with expertise in IT management.
    • Per the California State University’s Out-of-State Employment Policy, the CSU is prohibited from hiring employees to perform CSU-related work outside California. Working in the State of California is a condition of employment.

    Preferred qualifications:
    • A doctorate or equivalent
    • Previous teaching experience
    • Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and/or intercultural competence with diverse groups in relation to teaching.

    Salary commensurate with degree level and experience
    • Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $5,507 - $6,677 per full-time month

    The salary schedule information for the Lecturer - Academic Year Classification is available based on the following ranges:
    • CSU Classification Salary Range Lecturer A - AY: $5,507 - $6,677 per full-time month

    The anticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range, commensurate with education and experience.
