We are looking for a creative and collaborative Technology Training & Communications Specialist to help Jefferson County Public Library (JCPL) staff stay informed and empowered. In this role, you’ll design engaging training materials, craft clear communications, and share important updates through newsletters, emails, web content, and more. Description:Hiring Range: $ 79,920.59 - $103,896.77 Annually - Perform moderately complex business analysis to develop and implement strategies to communicate plans, objectives and solutions of TDI. Assists in communicating the direction and strategies of the organization with teams and employees to promote the value TDI provides JPCL. Research and provide assistance with award nominations to recognize the successes of the services TDI and JCPL provides.
- Design, develop and implement technical training programs for employees to improve skills. Conduct instructor-led training and update course material as needed. Perform ongoing assessments of employee technical training needs. Develop videos or webinars to increase staff’s knowledge of TDI services and technologies. Administer eLearning and learning management tools. Maintain technical onboarding documentation and training to engage and make new employees aware of the tools available to them.Lead collaboration with project managers and subject matter experts (SME) to engage staff by coordinating training and communications on systems used by the employees. Provide guidance to SME’s on training development and delivery methodologies.
- Design and deploy communication materials to organizations using various media including emails, newsletters, promotions, presentations and articles. Responsible for overseeing training content on the division websites. Work with staff to create awareness and engage county employees regarding the services and solutions available from TDI. Provide timely communications on upcoming changes and new technologies. Assists with communications to promote awareness and adoption of the tools and services provided by TDI.
