    The annual salary for this position is up to $60,000.00 based on education and experience.

    Job Description

    Location : Central Office, - 123 Robert S. Kerr Ave,

    Salary : up to $60,000.00, based on education and experience

    Full Time /Part Time : Full Time

    Work Schedule : Monday to Friday

    Primary Hours : 8am to 5pm

    Position Description: The Field Laboratory Quality Coordinator is responsible for quality management of an agency’s processes, procedures, or system. This may include responsibilities in quality planning, quality assurance, quality control, quality improvement, or other quality segments.

    Position Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
    • Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve quality throughout the organization. This may include developing a Quality Policy, quality standards and measures, and frequency of quality review.
    • Performs inspections or reviews of finished and / or initiated project, work product, process, procedures, or system.
    • Analyzes data and identifies trends in defects or errors.
    • Investigates quality failures and recommends changes to internal processes, procedures, or systems to prevent future quality issues.
    • Assesses and reports on the impact of process changes on quality.
    • Monitor vendors or suppliers, for compliance with established and contracted quality standards.
    • Gathers and maintains all documents, findings and reports according to agency standards.
    • Being present in the office is an essential function of this job
    • Other duties as assigned

    • Demonstrates knowledge of and supports mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior.
    • Works effectively in team environment, participating and assisting their peers.



    Minimum Qualifications:

    Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of bachelor’s degree and four (4) years of experience in quality management.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required at this level include knowledge of team dynamics; adult training concepts and techniques; regulatory compliance and industry standards; and quality measures, standards, and outcomes. Skills required at this level include skill in developing and conducting informal and formal training; evaluating data; and problem-solving. Abilities required include the ability to draw conclusions based on data; mentor lower-level staff; and identify trends.

    Physical Demands and Work Environment:

    Work is typically performed in an office setting with climate-controlled settings and exposure to moderate noise levels. While performing the duties of the job, employees are required to talk, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms; carry light items; drive an automobile. This position requires long periods of sitting and daily use of computers and phones. Applicants must be willing to perform all job-related travel associated with this position. Occasionally, in state overnight and weekend travel may be required. Being present at the office is an essential function of the job
