Performs varied, responsible, and complex administrative and clerical work of a specialized nature assisting the City Clerk and Deputy City Clerk. Duties include assisting with City Council Meetings, City Policies and Procedures, and Municipal Elections. Performs other duties of the City Clerk’s Office required by the City Code, Charter and Policy and Procedures. Work is governed by broad instructions, objectives, and policies. Work requires coordination of effort by more than one City operation and planning of various interrelated activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Secretarial Science, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field plus a minimum of two (2) years progressively responsible office management experience to include knowledge of personal computers/word processing equipment; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Required to become a Notary Public within 30 days of hire.

- Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
- Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
- Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
- Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
