Minimum QualificationsEducation: Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university which included completion of 30 semester hours in computer science, information processing, or a closely related field.
Experience: One (1) year full-time or its equivalent experience as a Systems Software Analyst I in Contra Costa County
or two (2) years full-time or its equivalent experience in the design, implementation, and maintenance of operating systems software on multi-user systems
plus two (2) years full-time or its equivalent programming experience on multi-user systems. At least one (1) year of the systems software experience must have included the installation and maintenance of both operating systems and database software.
Substitution for education: Additional applications programming experience in a higher level applications language or systems software experience of the type noted above may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis up to a maximum of two (2) years. No substitution is allowed for the required 30 semester hours in computer science, information processing, or a closely related field.
Desirable Qualifications:- Current or former: Epic Certified ECSA, Cisco Networking Associate (CCNA) certification, and/or Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops certification

Training and Experience Evaluation: Candidates who possess the minimum qualifications will be assessed with a Training and Experience Evaluation.
