This position is with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Division of State Parks, and will be located at
1659 E. Elm, Jefferson City, MO 65101. Typical work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and helpful team member who enjoys working with other people. This position supports the State Park Ranger Program, Safety and Wellness Program, the Statewide Construction Unit and the Division Deputy Director of Operations. We provide a fast-paced environment, with a variety of responsibilities and training opportunities.
- Provide administrative support to two programs, the statewide construction unit and the deputy division director
- Assist both internal and external customers by answering the phone and addressing or directing questions
- Schedule meetings, travel arrangements, and take meeting minutes as requested
- Prepare, proofread and coordinate various types of internal and external correspondence
- Prepare, process, and track all personnel actions for the Director’s Office
- Complete various data entry assignments such as the vehicle software system (WEX), and program inventory, and other databases
- Prepare and coordinate housing leases and reports; process rent payments; send rent certificates and reconcile leases and payments
- Prepare and code monthly credit card statements and expense reports
- Review, code and submit invoices for payment entry
- Order various office and program supplies as requested
- Other related duties as assigned

Equivalent to those typically gained by: - 3-5 years of relevant experience in administrative assistance, clerical support or office management. (Additional education or experience may substitute for the required education or experience)
