Job Description
This position is located at Bellefontaine Habilitation Center, 10695 Bellefontaine Rd., Saint Louis, MO 63137 providing security and protection for BHC campus. Working hours are Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with Friday and Saturday as off days. You are required to work holidays if they fall on your regular work schedule. (Please be advised that this position requires training on first shift and two weeks of training on second shift prior to working third shift.)
You will be working with staff who enjoy caring for others and want to make a difference in the lives of those impacted by a mental illness or developmental disability. You can make a difference in the lives of our consumers, so they too, can pursue their dreams, live their lives to the fullest, and be a valued member of their community.
1. Provide security for the facility.
2. Conduct rounds.
3. Prepare shift reports, including EMT or Fire Department arriving on grounds.
1. At least 1 year of relevant experience
2. High School diploma or equivalent
3. Possession of a valid driver’s license
4. Organized, dependable, and possessing good communication skills.
