You will exercise sound judgment in investigative procedures.Salary StatementThe salary for this position traditionally starts at $42,900.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.A Day in the LifeThe essential functions of this role are as follows:Generate actionable intelligence both proactively and reactively on offenders, civilians, staff members, and parolees using internal/external databases, the Fusion Center, and open‑source platforms in compliance with state and federal law, as well as departmental policies and procedures.Utilize the intelligence cycle to convert raw information into intelligence which can be used to support and assist in decision‑making.Create intelligence products and conduct oral briefings with decision makers on a monthly or as‑needed basis.Monitor, identify, and disrupt unauthorized/illegal/Security Threat Group (STG) activities in conjunction with Local, Federal, and State law enforcement agencies.Analyze data sets to identify patterns, trends, and/or vulnerabilities within a facility/Parole District.Testify in court as fact/summary and expert witness as needed.The job profile is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
