    Job Description

    The Town of Truckee is recruiting an Accounting Technician to perform a variety of duties for the Administrative Services Department. This position processes accounts payable, maintains and reconciles ledgers and accounts, prepares reports, journal entries, and bank deposits. This position also supports audits, year-end close, and customer/vendor inquiries. To learn more about this role, including the required qualifications, review the full job description (PDF).

    The Town of Truckee is an incorporated city known for its safe, close-knit community with approximately 16,500 year-round residents and an economy driven by tourism. Truckee encompasses nearly 34 square miles, and its population can swell to over 45,000 when visitors come to the area for winter and summer seasonal outdoor activities and the historic old-town charm.

    The hourly rate range is $34.72 to $46.86 with an excellent benefits package including CalPERS retirement. A full benefit summary (PDF) is available for review.
