Job Summary
Performs skilled maintenance work in the care of special Parks facilities. Is responsible for the performance of a variety of tasks in the maintenance and repair of parks buildings, facilities, and equipment which requires general knowledge of maintenance functions, skill in the use of hand power tools, and the ability to operate medium and heavy equipment such as water trucks, tractors, dump trucks, tree spades, and/or front-end loaders. Work is performed outdoors and the employee is exposed to weather conditions, insects, and various chemicals. Work is performed with limited supervision and is reviewed while in progress and upon completion.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate and two (2) years experience in grounds or general building maintenance required; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid Florida Driver's License required.

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
- Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
- Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
- Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
- Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
