Job Details

Security Guard (F-01 Required) - Fire Watch

$18.00/Hour | Sunday & Monday | 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

We're looking for a reliable Security Guard with a valid F-01 Certificate of Fitness to perform Fire Watch duties at a residential building in New York City.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete accurate fire watch log entries.
• Conduct hourly patrols of designated fire watch areas.
• Remain stationed in the lobby between patrols.
• Maintain a clean and professional work area at all times.

This is a Fire Watch position only. You will not be responsible for access control, concierge duties, or residential security.

Compensation & Additional Hours:

• Base schedule: Sunday & Monday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (16 hours/week).
• Additional shifts are regularly available at our other NYC locations, making 24-32 hours per week a realistic expectation.
• This position pays $18.00/hour. Additional sites may pay $17.00-$17.50/hour depending on the assignment.
• We also have prevailing wage accounts paying $20+/hour. If you demonstrate reliability and strong performance, you will be considered for these to make your 40 hours.

Requirements:

• Valid NYS Security Guard Registration.
• Valid F-01 Certificate of Fitness.
• Reliable transportation to NYC assignments.
• Dependable, professional, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to complete accurate documentation and follow post orders.
