It also owns the Ford amphitheater.

Essential Job Functions
- Operates a light bus carrying patrons and visitors throughout facility grounds and other locations, including meeting and dealing courteously with the public, providing direction and information to passengers and patrons, assisting passengers with boarding and departing the bus, and renders first aid when necessary.
- Responsible for the service and maintenance schedule of buses including the gas, oil, and tires.
- Inspect buses for mechanical conditions affecting safety of operation; reports major mechanical defects and cleans and washes buses and other vehicles.
- Operates other automotive equipment to pick up and deliver supplies, including moving of supplies in warehouses or other buildings.
Requirements
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Six months of experience driving a bus or a truck of over 10,000 lbs. gross vehicle weight (GVW).
LICENSE and CERTIFICATION:
A valid California Class B Driver License with special endorsement for passenger transport vehicles.
For positions that require driving, successful applicants must acquire and present a copy of their driving record from the California State Department of Motor Vehicles before final appointment. Applicants should not submit their driving history until asked to do so by the hiring department. The County will make an individualized assessment of whether an applicant's driving history has a direct or adverse relationship with the specific duties of the job. License must be currently active, valid and in good standing.

Physical Class 3:
Moderate: This class requires that the incumbent stand or walk most of the time with bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, reaching, working on irregular surfaces, occasional lifting of objects weighing over 25 pounds, and frequent lifting of 10-25 pounds.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience beyond six (6) months of experience driving a bus or truck of over 10,000 lbs. gross vehicle weight (GVW).
- At least a year of experience driving a vehicle of over 10,000 lbs. gross vehicle weight (GVW), in transporting at least ten passengers.
- American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Certificate.

EXAMINATION CONTENT:
This examination will consist of an evaluation of training and experience based on application information and desirable qualifications, weighted 100%.
You must meet the requirements and achieve a passing score of 70% or higher on the evaluation in order to be placed on the eligible list.

ELIGIBILITY INFORMATION and VACANCY INFORMATION:
The names of candidates receiving a passing score in the examination will be placed on the eligible list for a period of twelve (12) months.
The resulting eligible list for this examination will be used to fill vacancies in the Department of Parks and Recreation. However, the current vacancies are at 13144 Crossroads Parkway S, City of Industry, CA.
