We have a mission that matters!Description of Work This position is located at Foothills Correctional Institution in Morganton, Burke County, NC. Foothills Correctional Institution is a close/minimum custody male facility.The Program Director II will work under the direct supervision of the Associate Warden of Programs and will have the responsibility to manage and provide supervision for various treatment, case management, and activity programs.Key Duties for this position include, but are not limited to: Lead and oversee inmate education, treatment, and rehabilitation programs.Supervise, train, and evaluate program staff.Ensure programs comply with agency policies, laws, and safety standards.Develop and improve programs to support inmate rehabilitation and successful reentry.Manage program budgets, resources, and daily operations.Monitor program performance and prepare reports on outcomes.Coordinate with security, medical, mental health, and community partners.Ensure inmates have access to appropriate programs based on their needs.Maintain accurate records and prepare for audits and inspections.Support a safe, secure, and effective correctional environment while promoting positive inmate outcomes.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences Salary Grade Range: $47,703.00 - $83,479.00Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement.The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required.
