Bowhead is looking to hire a Logistician in Dahlgren, VA. The Logistician will be responsible for managing the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Flowcharts, and Procurement Action-Tracker.The logistician will clarify specifications with client/technical specialists to fully understand requirements and conduct market research to identify sources that meet end-user specifications.Prior to procurement package submission the Logistician will coordinate with Information Assurance Officers (IAO) to ensure Purchase Request for hardware and software are associated with an approved Certification & Accreditation (C&A) package and listed in the hardware/software baseline.One to three (1-3) years of professional experience in a related field Experience ensuring the adequate accountability and security of supplies and equipmentKnowledge of the principles, practices, responsibilities, and requirement of logistic support services, and the integration of supply, maintenance, and other support activitiesGood execution, planning and prioritization skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to work on multiple projects as well as the ability to work individually and on a teamTargeted salary range is $24.04 hourly based on qualifications and experience.Physical Demands:Must be able to lift up to 10-15 poundsMust be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of timeMust be able to twist, bend and squat periodicallySECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level.
