Check in voters and verify eligibility using approved election materials

Assist voters with ballots, voting equipment, and accessibility options in a neutral and professional manner

Operate and monitor voting equipment and troubleshoot basic issues as trained

Maintain ballot security, voter privacy, and compliance with election laws and procedures

Proofread election-related documents for accuracy and completeness

Document unusual events and assist with election reporting procedures

Help reconcile records and secure ballots and election materials at the end of each workday

Must be at least 18 years old and a Minnesota resident

Must be eligible to vote in Minnesota (or meet student trainee requirements)

Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures

Ability to remain strictly nonpartisan in conduct and communication

Comfortable interacting with the public and individuals from diverse backgrounds

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move light equipment

Reliable attendance and professional presentation
