A Business Process Analyst I job is available with the City of Fort Worth Municipal Court - Clerk of Court division. This position serves as a frontline business process and systems support analyst for Municipal Court Services. The Business Process Analyst provides daily operational support to Court staff and serves as an initial point of contact for issues involving departmental systems, business processes, procedures, workflows, and user training. The Business Process Analyst I analyzes operational and system-related issues to identify symptoms and potential root causes, determine the appropriate course of action, and resolve or escalate issues as necessary. The position will assist with documenting and improving business processes, testing and implementing system or process changes, and providing systems and procedural training to Court staff. The Business Process Analyst I will work collaboratively with Court staff, other analysts, Information Technology Solutions (ITS), vendors, and other City departments to support consistent, efficient, and reliable Court operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management Information Systems or related field
- Valid Texas Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting business applications, end-user systems, and desktop hardware
- Experience testing software applications, system enhancements, or business processes, including documenting test results and identified issues
- Experience developing and delivering end-user training for business applications, systems, or operational processes
The Business Process Analyst I job responsibilities include:
- Provides daily operational, process, and system support to Municipal Court employees using departmental applications, systems, workflows, and established business procedures
- Serves as an initial point of contact for operational and system-related issues; gathers relevant information, evaluates business impact, performs initial troubleshooting, and determines the appropriate resolution or escalation
- Resolves operational and system issues within assigned responsibilities and coordinates escalation of more complex issues to the direct supervisor, Customer Solutions Analyst, Information Technology Solutions (ITS), or applicable vendor as directed. Tracks assigned issues through resolution and communicates status as appropriate
- Provides systems, process, and procedural training to Municipal Court employees, including new employee training, refresher training, and training associated with new systems, enhancements, or procedural changes. Training includes case management system micro-training and desktop hardware use and proficiency. Develops and maintains user guides, quick-reference materials, procedures, and other training and support resources
- Participates in system, application, and business-process testing, including developing or executing test scenarios, documenting results and defects, validating corrections, and supporting user acceptance testing
- Maintains departmental technology resources, including asset inventory and tracking, equipment deployment, and first-level troubleshooting of PCs, laptops, printers, and related equipment. Assists with maintaining departmental SharePoint sites, internal distribution and communication groups, and updates to the Municipal Court public webpage
- Assists with creating and maintaining content for the Court's digital display systems, event notices, and informational content displayed in Court facilities using approved design and content tools
- Supports departmental outreach and offsite operations, including equipment setup, configuration, and on-site technical support for Court in the Community, True Worth, and similar Court programs and events
- Performs other related duties as required
Physical Demands
Sedentary Work - Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Due to CJIS requirements related to system access, the following will result in being disqualified for this position: Felony Convictions, Felony Deferred Adjudication, Class A Misdemeanor Conviction, Class B Misdemeanor Convictions in the last 10 years, Class A Misdemeanor Deferred Adjudication, Class B Misdemeanor Deferred Adjudication in the last 10 years, an Open Arrest for Any Criminal Offense (Felony or Misdemeanor), and ALL Family Violence Convictions regardless of class.

Medical Program
The City offers two plan options through Meritain Health, an Aetna company.
The Health Center Plan – Offers employees and their family’s
primary health care services that are 100% completely free and unlimited. Employees can visit any one of the three City of Fort Worth Employee Health Centers and receive guaranteed same or next day appointments for sick visits. Also, services are available at any one of the five satellite locations that serves employees across the city.
The Consumer Choice Plan – Is offered to employees at no cost or low monthly premiums to cover eligible dependents and provides the financial benefits of a Health Savings Account (HSA).
• Preventative services are covered at 100% on both plans.
• Prescription Drug coverage including mail order pharmacy are also included.
Vacation
Eligible for 3 weeks of vacation: After successful completion of probationary period (usually
6 months), employees may take time off for rest, relaxation, vacation, illness, religious observances, and personal business.
Holidays
Available on the first day of employment, the city provides employees with paid holidays, including two personal holidays.
Wellness Program
The city’s Healthy Challenge Wellness Program rewards all full-time, benefit-eligible employees on the city’s health insurance. The Healthy Challenge Program utilizes a points system. Participants may earn points throughout the year (Jan. 1-Dec. 15) for completing specific program activities and participants can redeem points at the end of the year for a cash reward. By participating, individuals can earn $150, $200 or $250 by accumulating program points.
