As you commit to protecting lives and property, we make a commitment to invest in you.Position Details We are a community where people feel safe and welcome to be themselves, visitors find a place they want to come back to again and again, businesses are positioned for success and our team finds meaningful work and opportunities to grow.This position will be:Providing rescue help and emergency first aid treatment.Answering questions, providing directions and prompt assistance to the community.Deter and detect unlawful activities by effective police work.Gather evidence, question victims, suspects and witnesses, and follow up on related leads.Responding to calls for assistance, investigating complaints, and maintaining order in disputes.Directing traffic, reporting hazardous conditions, and enforcing ordinances.This role works rotating shiftsMinimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree by the date of hire, Minnesota Peace Officer License eligible by hire date and valid Minnesota Class D Driver's License.
