Position Description: Duties: - Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance.
- Promote and maintain positive and effective working relationships and promote good public relationships as a representative of the Licking County Government.
- Perform a variety of functions to ensure the efficient operation of the department. Verify, research, compile and analyze information; prepare and maintain various statistical and database reports; furnish technical information and advice/recommendations to assist in decision making; review and process contracts as needed.
- Assist with the development and administration of the County’s general fund budget by using current accounting techniques and software to improve the overall management and efficiency of financial operations.
- Processand prepare administrative information on matters resolved by the Board of Commissioners; resolutions, bids, correspondence, advertisements, press releases, contracts, etc.
- Respond to various departments and public inquiries by providing information, records and direction. Assist thegeneral public on issues relating to official business.
- Provide departmental back-up as needed and act in an administrative capacity. Schedule and prepare information for Commissioners’ meetings and public hearings; attend meetings and take minutes of meetings as requested.
- Develop and administer policies and procedures to comply with standards as requested or when administratively needed.
- Coordinate special projects including the administration of the Govdeals program; create brochures for special events.
- Remain informed of current developments; new or proposed House and Senate Bills; new or proposed State and Federal legislation; current Ohio Revised Code laws and any procedures pertinent to duties.
- Attend any required seminars, meetings or training.
- Meet all job safety requirements and all applicable PERRP safety standards that pertain to the essential functions of the position and all agency safety procedures.
Brief Description: Provides administrative and financial/budgetary management support to the Board of Commissioners and the County Administrator within the guidelines of the Ohio Revised Code and State and Federal mandates. Identifies areas of improvement and recommends changes to the County Administrator and Board of County Commissioners.
Job Prerequisites: Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; and two (2) to four (4) years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Qualifications (Agency/Dept. Qualifications):Must possess excellent integrity, teamwork and project management skills.

Compensation: Salary: $52,000 to $60,000 annually
