    $20.29-$25.87

    Job Summary

    Salary:

    Electrician I: $20.29-$25.86

    Electrician II: $21.75 -$27.73

    Performs responsible journey level electrical work involving the installation, maintenance, and repair work of equipment, machinery, power appliances, fixtures, or other electrical components. Work is performed under the supervision of a technical supervisor and is subject to review while in progress and upon completion for compliance with acceptable electrical standards.

    Minimum Qualifications :

    Electrician I: High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate and two (2) years electrical experience required; or an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience. Some positions may require a valid Florida Driver's License prior to employment.

    Electrician II: High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate and four (4) years electrical experience required; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Must possess an Orange County Journeyman Electrician Competency card or equivalent. Some positions may require a valid Florida Driver's License prior to employment.

    If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
    • Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
    • Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
    • Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
    • Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
