En.suring affordable; reliable health core for Nevada The Deputy Administrator will execute and continue to improve Nevada's delivery systems and benefits policy in accordance with State and Federal regulations, as well as program goals. Under the direction of the Nevada Medicaid Division Administrator, the Deputy provides leadership and oversight of the Benefits & Delivery Systems branch of the Division, including Medical, Behavioral Health, and Dental Benefits Coverage, Rates Analysis and Development, Managed Care & Quality Assurance, and Access & Quality units.

CANDIDATE
! !EE OOIN O: An ideal candidate for the Deputy of Community Supports will be professional and organized. Collaborative and analytical with strong public speaking and managerial abilities. Preferred requirements: Five years of supervisory experience in Medicaid Managed Care programs and/ or Benefit coverage in Medicaid or other similar programs where skills are translatable; Master's degree or other higher educational or professional degree or six years of work experience in health care, Medicaid, public health, health care administration, or other related field.

E OIN: - Provide executive leadership to ensure successful procurement, implementation, and monitoring of large Managed Care contracts. -Provide executive leadership to ensure accurate, successful design or enhancement of Medicaid coverage and reimbursement policy, including program and payment innovation. - Manage relationships with health plan leadership to ensure effective delivery of Managed Care programs. - Work closely with executive and fiscal leaders to develop comprehensive biennium budget and monitor budget accounts associated with all benefits and delivery systems. - Partner with Nevada Health Authority Director's Office in stakeholder engagement efforts to ensure member and provider input is incorporated in all phases of Medicaid Managed Care and benefits program development and management. - Partner with expert vendors to ensure that national best practices and learnings are applied within Nevada. - Serve as Nevada Medicaid Acting Administrator when Administrator is unavailable.

• Minimum requirements: o At least three years of supervisory experience in Medicaid managed care programming and/ or benefit coverage in Medicaid or other similar programs where skills are translatable; and o A bachelor's degree or at least five years of work experience in health care, Medicaid, public health, health care administration, or other related field. • Lead several projects simultaneously; assume primary ownership of multiple complex policy and program initiatives working with internal and external partners while taking accountability for timely and successful completion
• Collaborate with federal, state, local, and tribal government agencies, providers, and community stakeholders to ensure program success.
• Analyze a myriad of state and federal laws, regulations and guidelines, which change frequently.
• Convey technical or complex information in an understandable format.
• Promote a professional, positive, and collaborative team environment.
• Represent the Division before various internal and external groups and committees, including legislative meetings. Research and development of legislative proposals, including regular legislative testimony as directed.
