    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

    § Shoot and edit photo, audio, and video content to support the department’s internal and external communications needs.

    § Ensure that department equipment is organized, well-maintained, and properly stored when not in use.

    § Collaborate with department members to ensure thorough and accurate coverage of department events and initiatives.

    § Storyboard multimedia concepts for approval.

    § Attend scheduled events during and after work hours to shoot photos and videos.

    § Demonstrate exceptional time and resource management skills to ensure that projects are delivered on deadline.

    § Work closely with internal staff and agency partners to create final, polished products that effectively communicate the department’s brand and story.

    § Coordinate and take headshots for department staff.

    § Perform other related work as assigned.

    § Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance.

    COMPETENCIES :

    § Strong written and oral communications skills required.

    § Attention to detail.

    § Strong creative skills.

    § Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.

    § Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required.

    § Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite highly preferred.

    § Photography and video experience required.

    § Proficiency in videography techniques, including camera operation, composition, and lighting.

    § Proficiency in a wide range of photography styles and subjects.

    Beneficial education and/or work-related experience includes technical or professional experience in communications, marketing, graphic design, journalism, web design, or a related field.

    Must provide a portfolio of no more than 20 images, and a video reel not to exceed 5 minutes.

    Lack of a post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
