Job Location: This position will be located at 912 Wildwood Drive, Jefferson City, Missouri.

The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.
- Provide advanced clerical support to the Bureau Chief and Assistant Chief.
- Directly supervise two Administrative Support Assistants (hiring, training, coaching, developing, evaluating performance, tracking/reviewing leave and work time entered in the DELTA system).
- Develop and maintain policies/procedures for support tasks.
- Work as a member of the team ensuring support work is completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain supply, forms and equipment inventories, generating orders as needed, and processing invoices for payment.
- Function as the liaison with the Bureau of General Services and various equipment repair/maintenance contractors.
Minimum Qualifications: - 3-5 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
- Experience with supervision, managing work assignments, motivating staff
- Organization and prioritization, and the ability to track orders, invoices, and supply/forms inventory
- Proofreading and excellent grammar, usage, punctuation and spelling
- Experience and demonstrated proficiency with a variety of computer software, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc., and the ability to quickly become proficient with other software packages
