Arrowhead Regional Medical Center is recruiting for
Occupational Therapy Assistants who assist Licensed Occupational Therapists in the delivery of occupational therapy plans of care. Occupational Therapy Assistants conduct treatment sessions; observe responses to treatment; modify treatment technique during sessions as needed under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist; provide instruction in daily living activities and provide encouragement to patients to attempt new activities; communicate with the supervisor and other health team members about the patient's therapy progress, problems, or treatment plans; document and maintain charts and records; assist in providing caregiver instruction; order supplies and maintain inventories of tools and equipment used in activities. Perform other tasks as assigned.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Pre-Employment Process: Applicants selected for these positions must pass a background investigation, drug test, verification of employment history and education.
Shift Availability: ARMC is a twenty-four hour facility; applicants must indicate their shift availability in the Supplemental Questionnaire of the application. Shift differentials are provided.

Minimum RequirementsLicense: Must be licensed as an
Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) by the California Board of Occupational Therapy (CBOT). List the license number and expiration date on the application. A legible copy of the OTA license is required upon appointment.
-AND-Certification: All candidates must possess and maintain Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Desired QualificationsExperience with Microsoft Office is highly desirable.
