This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) supporting the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and the Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development (DHEWD).

• Provide recommendations and road maps for proposed solutions.
• Document and share best practice knowledge for new solutions.
• Develop algorithms to transform data into useful, actionable information.
• Build, test, and maintain database pipeline architectures.
• Develop application programming interfaces (APIs).

• Hands-on experience with Cloud technology such as AWS, Azure, etc.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Experience with Visual Studio 2022 and earlier versions.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server 2019/2022.
• Practical experience with Java or .Net, API design, and a good understanding of architectural frameworks.
• An understanding of ServiceNow / low-code development.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, data architecture and design concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills is required.
• Ability to write technical policies, procedures, and documentation for systems, including architecture diagrams, etc.
• Successful background check results are required for employment in this position. This may include background checks involving a candidate’s name and/or fingerprints and other screenings as needed for the specific position.
