    The Job

    Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for Clinical Laboratory Scientist III. Positions in this series perform laboratory procedures and analyses in either a Public Health or Medical Center clinical laboratory. Clinical Laboratory Technologist III serve as lead supervisors and/or perform the most difficult tests which may be new or may involve many alternatives or procedural steps not necessarily covered by written instructions. The eligible list created from this recruitment may be used to fill other vacancies as they occur.

    CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

    Shift Availability: ARMC is a twenty-four-hour facility; some shifts include weekends and holidays. Applicants must indicate availability for day, swing, night, rotating, weekends, and holidays. Shift differentials are provided.

    Pre-Employment Process : Applicants selected for these positions must pass a background investigation, physical, and verification of employment history and education.

    Work Environment: Incumbents are routinely exposed to dangerous chemicals and infectious materials.

    Minimum Requirements

    Experience:
    Three (3) years of clinical laboratory experience as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, that includes one (1) year of experience in an acute care hospital.

    -AND-

    License:

    Must possess and maintain a Clinical Laboratory Scientist license issued by the State of California Department of Public Health. Note: a limited license is not considered qualifying; license must include "MTA" prefix.
