    The Contra Costa County Health Information Technology Department is offering an excellent employment opportunity for a full-time Health Services Information Technology Security Specialist position assigned primarily to the Health Services Information Technology Unit located in Martinez, CA.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Education: Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in healthcare or business administration, computer science, information security, management information systems, or a closely related field.

    Certification: Possession of a: MCITP, CCNA/CCDP, or JunOS are desirable.

    Experience: Four (4) years of full time or its equivalent experience including 1 (one) or more years in a healthcare information technology environment, implementing and managing technology security of multiple platforms, operating systems, software, and network protocols in a large, complex, information technology organization.

    Substitution for Education: Completion of 60 semester units or 90 quarter units, that included at least twelve semester or eighteen quarter units in computer science plus an additional two years of qualifying experience of the type noted above may substitute for the Bachelors degree.

Applicants who have attended a foreign or non-U.S. accredited university or college must provide proof of education evaluation completed by a service affiliated with the National Association of Credentials Evaluation Services (NACES) with transcripts. All supporting documents must be scanned and attached to the application at the time of submission.
    Desirable Qualifications:
    -Familiarity with developing and operating vulnerability management programs
    -Familiarity with Microsoft M365 native and 3rd party data classification tools

    Selection Process

    1. Application Filing and Evaluation: All applicants will be required to complete a supplemental questionnaire at the time of application. Applications will be evaluated to determine which candidates will move forward in the next phase of the recruitment process.

    2. Online Interview Assessment: Candidates that meet the minimum qualifications will be invited to participate in an online, on-demand interview. The interview will measure candidates' competencies as they relate to the job and will be rated by subject matter experts. In the interview, candidates must achieve an average passing score of 70% or higher on each of the competencies, as well as an overall passing score of 70% or higher. These may include but are not limited to the competencies listed above. (Weighted 100%).

    DISASTER SERVICE WORKER
