Summary
The City Manager’s Office is seeking a qualified individual to oversee and manage special projects. This position will play a key role in supporting organizational priorities, coordinating cross-departmental initiatives, and ensuring timely completion of assigned projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and oversee special projects as directed by the City Manager.
- Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure alignment with city goals.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and updates for executive staff and City Council.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Serve as a liaison between the City Manager’s office and internal/external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Education and/or Experience- Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience.
- Local government experience required.
- Must have or actively pursuing a Master of Public Administration (MPA). Master's in Public Administration preferred)
