HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION: The Senior Accounts Assistant will utilize team member’s knowledge of accounting principles and practices to organize, evaluate, and process the financial transactions of the Taxation Division. The Senior Accounts Assistant will maintain the role of a Customer Service Supervisor. Candidates will train and educate new team members while establishing and maintaining effective working relationships, in an effort to provide every customer the best experience every time.
DUTIES PERFORMED TO SUPPORT THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION: - Review and process financial transactions.
- Establish and maintain ongoing positive working relationships by communicating effectively.
- Train new employees on deposit procedures.
- Assign daily work priorities to team members to ensure deposit deadlines are met.
- Provide technical assistance for unbalanced transactions.
- Update Batch Activity Monitoring System to ensure correct totals and processing of documentation.
- Ensure correction deadlines and deposit estimate are completed in a timely manner.
- Supervise, educate, monitor and obtain feedback from team members to improve processes.
- Schedule and hold monthly ENGAGE meetings with team members.
- Monitor leave balances and review/approve leave events and timesheets for team members in Leave Track.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Five or more years of experience in tax preparation, process review, or collection; accounting, auditing, bookkeeping, or closely related work.
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience is preferred.
