- Four (4) years of experience in human resources administration; municipal experience preferred.
- Must pass MVR check.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
- Valid Texas Class C driver’s license.
Equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.
The Human Resources Generalist coordinates the Town’s electronic recruitment, onboarding, and separation processes using NeoGov systems. The position ensures completion of new hire requirements, oversees post-offer screenings, and maintains accurate employee records. The role provides administrative support, responds to open records and compliance requests, assists with training and communications, and delivers customer service to employees and the community. Additional responsibilities include supporting payroll entry, invoice processing, and benchmarking initiatives.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED
- Receives general direction from the Human Resources Director.
- Direct supervision of Human Resources Specialist.
