Purchasing Department is recruiting for a
Printing Services Supervisor who supervises and coordinates the daily operations and staff within the department. Duties include organizing and scheduling jobs; evaluating printing requests; providing assistance to customers to ensure that service is responsive to department needs and deadlines; implementing operating procedures and evaluating work performance; analyzing processes and defining job costing and production data inputs; meeting with vendors of materials and equipment for information and estimates; and providing input for the budget regarding staffing, equipment and supplies.

Summary of Benefits Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Travel throughout the County may be required to carry out the essential job-related functions of this position . Employees will be required to make provision for transportation. At the time of hire, a valid California Class C driver license and proof of automobile insurance must be provided for the individual providing the transportation.

Minimum Requirements CANDIDATES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENT: EXPERIENCE Two (2) years of full-time equivalent experience operating and maintaining a wide range of printing and related equipment using workflow management software which includes pre and postproduction quality control
-AND- one (1) year of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity performing hiring, training, evaluations and disciplinary actions.
