Pete Radloff has been in the talent acquisition industry since 2000, with experience in both agency and corporate settings. He has experience in recruitment systems selection and implementation, including vendor selection. Social Media has also been a significant part of Pete’s experience as well. He has worked on developing social media and employment brand strategy, site selection, content planning and execution, and metrics. His relationship-driven models have resulted in better candidate engagement, brand visibility and reach, as well as increased candidate flow. Being part of the local recruiting community in DC has always been important to Pete. He has been on the board of directors for recruitDC since 2010, and has also been a speaker at several recruitDC events. Originally from New York, Pete is an avid New York sports fan and lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and 2 children. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the State University of New York, and holds several AIRS Certifications.

Bob Atlas is a Battalion Chief with the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District. He entered the fire service as a Community Fire Aide for the Milpitas Fire Department in 1996 and completed an internship with the South Santa Clara County Fire Protection District and Cal Fire in 1997. Bob was then employed as an Emergency Medical Technician for American Medical Response. He was hired by The Contra Costa County Fire Protection District in 1999, promoted to Fire Engineer in 2002, Captain in 2005 and Shift Battalion Chief in 2011 and is currently assigned to Battalion 8. Chief Atlas oversees almost $30 million in Local, State and Federal grants for training, apparatus, equipment and staffing. Atlas has instructed at the CCCFPD Fire Academy and other fire academies in the area. He is a California State Fire Marshal certified Fire Officer and Fire Instructor I. He is a former member of FEMA US&R, California Task Force 4 and The CCCFPD Technical Rescue Program. Bob is a member of the East Bay Incident Management Team and assigned to the Operations Section. Atlas is also serves on The CCCPFD career development committee and is a Certified Oral Board Rater for the fire district. Bob is responsible for the fire districts fire apparatus committee. He has been coaching entry-level candidates since 1999 and promotional candidates since 2005. Bob is one of three Owners of Fire Alumni a leader in public safety training & education since 2004. Bob holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from The University of Massachusetts and an Associates of Science in Fire Science from Mission College. Chief Atlas has been married for 22 years to his beautiful wife Teresa; they have 3 children and reside in Brentwood, Ca. His philosophy in life is simple... I'm Erica, a certified resume writer and career advisor working currently for the state of CT. I create, update, market, and facilitate workshops to help job seekers gain needed skills to return to work.
